About Channel

 

Channel Communication Services Ltd was established in 1987 to provide large and small companies with telephone systems. Originally part of Channel Group plc, Channel Comms became an independent company in December 1997. Channel is an ISO 9002 registered company and we sell, install and maintain a range of switches, voice mail, fax mail, auto attendant, call logging and unified messaging.

We specialise in high quality installations that are often technically complex. We understand call centres, computer telephony integration and voice over IP and are able to work closely with suppliers of computer networks to ensure mutual compatibility.

Strategic alliances with leading technology suppliers such as Crane Telecom, Aastra Technologies Limited, Avaya and LG allow us to specify precise solutions for our customers. We are accredited business partners of both Avaya and Crane Telecom.

We employ our own engineers and support teams, all of whom are accredited to the highest levels by our suppliers. We are committed to ongoing training for our staff as new products are developed and introduced.

We have over a thousand customers. These include professional, manufacturing, trading, IT, Local Government, Schools, Colleges and many other organisations. They range from the technically complex to small and large 'bread and butter' systems with every combination in between. A large percentage of new business is generated as a result of referrals from existing customers. Our customers are largely based in South Wales and the South West including Bristol, Bath, Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Cardiff.

A comprehensive pre-sales study of customer requirements and development plans is carried out before each sales proposal is formulated.

Each installation is project managed carefully to deliver smooth implementation and ensure minimum disruption to the customer.

Ongoing support, both technical and sales is a fundamental part of our service to customers. Various levels of cover, up to 24 x 7 x 365 are available.
