Destination Bristol are an organisation that promote the interests and development of the visitor economy in our beloved Bristol, with their overall objective being to increase the number of day visitors and overnight stays in the city.

The Challenge

After a few years of great trading success, Destination Bristol’s staff were becoming more and more frustrated with their old BT phone system. Another challenge of theirs was having to deal with several suppliers for their lines, calls, maintenance & connectivity.

The organisation realised that a new, feature-rich telephone system, one that would integrate seamlessly with their processes and staff was required if they were to provide good communication between colleagues and caller.

 

The Solution

Channel implemented the Mitel MiVoice 250 office phone system which included a number of new features which have since been embraced by the organisation. We also supplied SIP trunks to replace the ISDN lines to modernise their infrastructure, whilst providing greater flexibility and reducing their costs.
