As the carriers are not associated and have no view of each other’s connections, they have no reason to route them differently.

  • Enable call forwarding to your 2nd premises if applicable.
  • Use 3G or 4G networks to access the internet – note that this generally only allows for light internet use and can be very costly.
  • Put a message out on your social media channels explaining you are not currently connected. Give customers an alternative method of contacting you if possible.
